our stay at a hostel in Madrid was just average, but our recent stay at hostal oxum was incredible. the location was perfect, within walking distance of everything. the room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. the staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms at Hostal Oxum are amazing! They have everything you need, like a private bathroom with a rain shower and free toiletries. The flat-screen TV is a nice touch too. As a young traveler, I felt comfortable and at home in these rooms.

Personally, I found the shower/tub combination a bit inconvenient. But hey, that's just my opinion!

Comfortable stay, centrally located. The room was nicely furnished and well-maintained, with a stocked fridge for breakfast. Although we had a bit of trouble with the airport shuttle service, we managed to find the hotel easily. Our only complaint was the noise from renovations, but overall I'll recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hostal Oxum. the room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. the hotel's location was perfect, as it was close to all the main sightseeing spots and the metro. It was incredibly convenient to have everything within short walking distance. there were plenty of stores, cafes, and restaurants nearby, making it easy to find everything I needed. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, and even though they only spoke Spanish, it was a great opportunity for me to practice the language. Cons: Nothing not to love! 😊.

I keep coming back because Hostal Oxum has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, friendly staff. They even helped me find a local food delivery number on my first stay. Perfect for a romantic escape. No regrets.

For us it was ideal.

The entrance might look a bit old, but once I entered the room I was impressed. It was modern, and nicely decorated with a pleasant ambiance. the friendly staff, despite the language barrier, went out of their way to make us feel at home. the hotel is located in a lively part of town with many bars and fast food shops open until late at night.

Although the service was friendly, the wait to check in was a bit longer than we hoped for, and the information provided was limited. the air conditioning didn't work properly, which made our room a little too warm for comfort.
